Hi,

So for the past four months I have been feeding a mama cat and a baby kitten. The baby kitten had officially reached two months and I captured it and took it to get shots and now I have it in my house. I just noticed that the mom kitten is pregnant. I have been feeding her every day since I have seen her. I couldn’t take the mom cat in because she was too feral. She now is comfortable with me standing near her. She no longer hisses at me. She actually sits near me and eats her food. Is anyone out there willing and able to take in this cat she can be domesticated.

I feel so bad and she has become so used to me that she knows when I’m walking up. She also knows what apartment I’m in because when I look outside she’s just sitting there staring up into my window.

The baby kitten I already rescued from her/outside is still adjusting and it’s been a month. It’s been a challenging month. I don’t think I’m skilled enough nor have enough patience to help the mommy cat.

If anyone is will to help her I can help you catch her and I’ll take in the kitten(s) if need be.

I’ve reached out to so many shelters and I haven’t found one that can actually help.

Thumbs up Call ASPCA and Humane Society

ASPCA needs to honor their heart wrenching commercials and pleas for donations. I have had more help from the Humane Society though. I think Mama cat is yours too. She will eventually come around. Post pictures and offer them on your social media forums including this one. You'll be blessed for your good heart.

You need to at least try to trap the momma cat and get her spayed. That way even if she stays outside, it will be one cat instead of a whole bunch of them if she keeps having kittens. Look into SNAP and they may be able to help with the cost.

I actually know someone who loves cats and will likely take this one in. Her family has taken in several strays before. Check your DM.
