Hello all. I'll keep it simple, i'm a firearms owner looking to relocate to Texas. I am looking to see, who would know of any Dynamic ranges in and around the areas of Austin, Dallas or the Houston area. For those who might not be familiar with the concept. A "Dynamic range" is one that you can move about freely or somewhat freely, keeping in mind the range rules and regs. They may consist of man size targets, metal plates of various sizes, several different stages some sort of shoot house and several different variations on the same theme. Before I get some snarky person commenting about why I chose those three locations. I have never been to Texas before, I am an active sport shooter, I am from the North East and for those of you in the community I don't need to say anymore. My nest is now empty and its time for a change.

Check out Fulshear Sportsman Club. You can move around and are by yourself.

No I have never officially joined or made a choice of either IDPA or IPSC. I've shot at my home range and over the years I've spent time at Sig Arms in Epping NH, I love that place. If i wasn't tired of the snow that's where I would move to.
