Possibly interested in this community and wondering if anyone can speak to any pros and cons? How are the quality of homes in the community, specifically Perry, Highland, and Westin. How are the schools? Is there good shopping/restaurants nearby or coming soon? Looks like it might be in a 100 year flood plain. I know they are raising the homes but do the areas surrounging the community flood really bad? Would you recommend any other communities nearby in the $400-600k range?

I prefer Cross Creek Ranch and/or Bridgeland over both.
But if I had to choose, I would choose Jordan Ranch personally.

Thank your for your response. Bridgeland is a little further out than what we want to be (would like to be closer to I-10). So does Cross Creek Ranch have better shopping/restaurants nearby and are the quality of homes better than Jordan Ranch?

Jordan Ranch and Cross Creek are both Johnson communities. CCR is established with more higher end home options, amenities, schools, and shopping. One of the reasons we picked CCR over the Bridgeland is because CCR is located within a functioning city (Fulshear) with great police coverage and city services.

I remember there was a thread about very popular scenic bike route near Fulshear but I can't find that thread. Is this a scenic route? https://www.bikemap.net/en/r/1010211....6945/-95.9178

Not sure, I haven’t made it out the neighborhood yet. I’ll check with my neighbor’s bike group.

Thanks. FM 1093 is what I remember about it. Kind of a popular road for the cyclists. But I haven't been there yet.

I mean, I would just take some time and drive through both neighborhoods and the surrounding area. Cross Creek Ranch blows it away in my opinion.
