Can’t wait to see the projects the city does in preparation for FIFA World Cup for the last super bowl. Like the Avenida project. W Hotel in Avenida back on after the COVID cancellation?

Yes, this is an opportunity for the city to step up with some new projects! Will the 45 re-do be completed by 2026? I sure hope so.

Not even close to done, especially with the delay. In all likelihood, it'll be in the middle of construction unfortunately.

But they could (not saying they won’t cuz you know… TX DOT)… but they couldn’t prioritize building the portions where visitors will be going.

I believe the part of the project where they're rebuilding 59 between 288 and the Montrose bridges is still going forward now - it's part of the 45 rebuild project and should be essentially done by 2026.

Everything north of that though - who knows.
