Lol I'm definitely an immature loser BUT I'm newly sober and more career driven than I've ever been in my life, so hopefully that'll change things.

May I ask if this is a Southern thing? Because I as a woman (who was once upon the time a single woman.) will not see a single 36 (?!) yrs old man with no kids as a double red flag. 56? Maybe. But 36 is hardly old in big cities and in 2022.

Red flags are substance abuse, can’t stop talking about their ex, wouldn’t give you their cellphone number and full name, disappearing after getting intimate, ghosting you altogether…..age isn’t one of them.

I met my husband when he was 39, in NYC, where there were plenty of single 39 yrs old with no baggage and with a decent career. We have been happily married for 14 yrs.

You’ll be surprised how many men and women who look like a “catch” in big cities yet they are single either by choice or not rushing into marriages, with no skeletons in the closet.

I don’t know OP, and I’m genuinely curious if your thought is more a Southern thing as I know people overall get married earlier in the South.

Good luck OP, dating anywhere is a pain. When the time is right the right person will come. Don’t rush into a relationship just so you won’t be single, 36 is still quite young so take your time to meet people with good quality.

There will be plenty for you to choose from matching that description in a city this size.

I don't bother to date, since my wife would be really annoyed.

So how's Houston for dating??
If you don't mind sharing, are you thinking of relocating because you're dissatisfied with Dallas' dating market and wanted a change, or are you moving for other reasons and just want to know how it will impact your dating?

Even the fit/skinny women in Houston aren't picky? If so then I need to move there lol. Because the skinny women in DFW are definitely picky.

My opinion which is mainly driven by stereotypes is that girls in Dallas are more flashy and/or uppity. It is probably easier to find a good girl with good intentions in Houston than Dallas. I could be wrong though.
