Hey everyone, just wanted to check in to see if you or anyone you know got accepted to the following schools or in the waitpool:

SJS
Kinkaid
Awty

Was curious to see if anyone will see waitpool movement or is there an extremely high number of applicants this year due to all the issues with public schools lately. Thoughts?

There will be kids who have gotten into multiple of these schools. So the waitpool WILL open up. Good luck

I couldn't go to private school because my mom and dad couldn't afford it.

That’s okay, I couldn’t either.
But now we can try to afford it for our kids so it’s worth a shot

We will be attending Awty this Fall. Have heard that wait lists haven't had much movement this year thus far unfortunately but maybe it's too early to tell! Good luck, hoping wait list moves for your desired school. Did you apply for Elementary, MS, or HS?

Thank you! We applied and waitlisted to elementary Awty! Congrats to your child! What grade did they get into? Please keep me posted if you hear anything else on the waitlists. It’s like we have to sit by the phone for the next 3 months! Haha

We applied for KG. Wait lists are so hard! I think from the names you mentioned above - Awty would have the greatest chance of moving off of the wait list! Awty is on Spring Break right now. Definitely follow up with them early next week since decisions had to be finalized by March 31. The admission director is excellent about picking up calls and responding. Good luck!

My mind is blown that so many people pay around $30k for Kinder/elementary school. That's more than my 4-year degree cost from UofH 15 years ago.
