Often the office bldgs are kept so cold, that I frequently get my lunch to go and sit outside in the heat to thaw!

Big Thicket National Preserve - about 90 miles from Houston - 7 counties very spread out. Neches River, Village Creek - www.nps.gov/bith check it out.
