Lol there definitely are a good amount of parts of Houston that are ugly but I think the Connecticut governor should take a look in his own backyard first. Hartford and Bridgeport are insanely ugly. Sounds like throwing stones from a glass house.

Nothing to see here... remember the NY media called Houston a "Hell hole" during the Rockets-Knicks Championship series in 1994.

Like Mayor Turner said...we're busy preparing for the 2024 NCAA Football Championship Game in January 2024. It's not a beauty contest!

Houston could do better,
But I’m also glad Houston doesn’t spend millions of tax dollars “making the city look pretty”

Lousy comments, very rude.

That said, it would be nice if more Houstonians cared about making our city more beautiful. Some of the plazas and signs are truly an eyesore. I am not of the opinion that one person's right to make money with a mobile phone or CBD business means I have to live with their visual litter.

I have lived in Houston for 43 years. Lets be honest. It is a butt ugly city with a few nice spots. Its basically a flat urban jungle with a complete lack of city planning. People don't move to Houston for the scenery or natural beauty.

There are plenty of nice spots. Perspective is determined by where you live.

This guy’s comment was directed at downtown. What else could be done downtown. More parks? Hanging baskets? NYC is a concrete jungle. Some people hate it. That guy was just being obnoxious.

Meh, I saw this a couple of days ago. My perspective is it will be a cold day in hell before I care what a guy named Ned has to say.

[*Insert Kanye West shrug here*]
