Go back to look when he first started to discuss Austin and see the skyline he chose to use.

Briggs is just a moron. Houston has its problems but this guy has some serious issues with the city for some reason. I bet he got robbed here or something lol.

From what I've seen on his vids he loves Austin but doesn't like Houston or Dallas.

Nah he actually likes Dallas a lot. He likes all the big Texas cities including San Antonio. It's Houston he literally hates.

Default Briggs is not reliable

He seems to just repeat old statistics and news and then just give his personal biased opinion. He does not offer a very good indepth analysis.
You will get a far better analysis right here on this forum. Look at what comes out of these threads. On City Data we hash our the most critical issues that are specific to
A geographic area or community. Sure there is bias here also but you guys are important influencers and content providers. I've learned a lot on this forum. Way more than I would ever get from watching Briggs videos.
Other great sources are HAIF Culture Map and skyscraperpage plus of course Reddit. I also search google news. We also have the advantage of driving our area ever day in real time.
Those are all much better sources because they are platforms where the area experts can share their information.
Now we all have opinions and nobody wants to live in a blighted old city with no future. I would be anguished every day watching my city decay. Imagine living in North Saint Louis, Memphis. Toledo, Gary, Pittsburgh, North Philly, Tulsa, Little Rock, Jackson where there is nothing to look forward to. Some of you would jump off a bridge. . I rest assure you that NO Texas City is in danger of that. Our disputes are about who is number one. All the Texas Cities are in the Top 10 though. Texas is always rated as a great state for just about anything.

Did you watch the video? His video is about the city itself and he points out in the beginning that the metro is growing.

Ummm he singles out every city in the USA. Did you take a look at his YouTube channel?

Not sure why some always think Houston operates in a bubble. Crime goes up everywhere in the US but it's only out of control in Houston. City propers lose population across the country and there's a mass exodus.

Stop taking the bait. It is a national trend people and Houston wasn't even hit that hard.
He did a video on Dallas. Seems like a lot of you on this page didn’t take 2 seconds out of your day to look at his YouTube channel.

Is this guy paid by the State of California to do negative pieces on Texas cities?
He must be paid low cause he routinely makes videos on the issues of California. Yea nobody in this thread actually took a look at his YouTube page lmao
