I have a feeling Hidalgo has zero to do with this reliant event but again she is called out.

Not sure why nowadays public figures get turned into the bogeywoman.

It's concerts, it's just marketing nonsense, not sure why this is such a big deal

She is the chief executive of the county. Of course she is responsible for what is happening or not happening with the Astrodome.

And she is certainly taking the credit for the Taylor Swift promos. That's why she is called out. Look at the posted link.

So you favor just letting the Dome sit there and do nothing... Okay, that's an opinion.`

Yes! Until we can figure out what to do with it that preserves it's historical value just let it sit there, it's not going anywhere.

Add 2 World Series wins in 5 visits to that list.

It’s beyond me how a city gets the majority of the major concerts, is a World Cup host, ncaa final host, 2 Super Bowls in a stan of 17 years, and so forth. And somehow there’s still a couple of clowns that cry about “we don’t get the respect we deserve”. Do y’all have anything better to do with your time?

It's very goofy, but whatever. Regarding the Astrodome, can't we turn it into indoor ski slopes with a terrain park?

No thanks.
Sounds like clickbait.
Something made to annoy people enough to complain about it here after taking the bait.

Did a quick Google search and found that not just venues are doing the cutesy named change but entire cities and counties. The city of Gelndale AZ, and Hillsboro County (Tampa) are doing the name thing for the concert.

It's a silly sophomorish stunt, but idk why people would be upset by it? Are yall getting old? Should I stay clear of yalls lawn?

+1. As an events destination Houston is definitely respected. There are very few cities who are able to host the shear amount of large/mega events and concerts that the city of Houston routinely does.
