Hi,

Me and my wife are moving to the Houston area in a few weeks. We plan to buy a home but not until next year. Meanwhile I would like to rent a all bills included (IE. Electric, Water, Cable, Internet) apartment in the Houston Area. Doesnt matter which part of Houston, any apartment is welcome as long as its not in a bad area. Any suggestions will be helpful. Thanks!

YES! The Marquee, The Marquee West, and The Plantation. All within a block or on the same street of each other, and all one block (if that) from The Galleria. I had a two bedroom, two bath in The Marquee West and a one bedroom one bath at The Marquee about 7 years ago. LOVED them. Small, 60's architecture, very hip little addresses. The Marquee and Marquee West are on McCue. I paid $700 for my two-bedroom ABP and $515 for my one-bedroom. Of course that was 7 years ago, but I have heard the rent is not much higher. GREAT management, great neighbors, and loved the whole atmosphere. I loved being so close to everything, it was wonderful!

The Plantation is on Sage, just about a block from McCue. I looked at them before I settled on The Marquee.

I always got comments on my apartment in both places. People couldn't believe what little gems they were, right in the heart of the Galleria.

I have a friend that lived at the Marquee West several years ago, and she really loved it, too. GREAT location, and great management.

Unhappy West Point Apts. will no longer be All Bills PD

They are under new owners. New tentants will have to pay all, most current res. upon renewal will not have to until their next renewal. We just renewed this month for another yr. We were told next yr if we renew again then we will have to pay all bills. we will be looking for a good nice place then. Location will be our prob. Husband works is 77042 zip. Kids go to school in 77077 zip & church 77063. Good luck.
