I don't think marriage rights is as important as employment rights, where companies too often discriminate against you for being gay.

being (so) gay in the office is different from being a homosexual. no one person really should behave like theyre with friends/relatives when at the office. rules of conduct is what make the office bearable for everyone to go to everyday

Wha?

Anyone in any "burb" that pays Harris County taxes has the right to answer this poll, period.

Huh? this is the internet, not the government. Nobody has a "right' to anything.

This is a poll for Houston, not harris county. I explicitly only want to see what Houston residents think, not what people in sugarland, pasadena, clear lake, etc. think.

Why don't you get that?

I see Mom2Feebs doesn't understand the point of polls, and despite not being a resident of the city decided to vote.

Seriously, what is your problem? Can you not understand how, say, a political scientist might be interest in how people in Houston feel and not the county as a whole?

Don't you realize Houston makes decisions WITHOUT getting everyone in Harris county involved, just like Sugarland makes decisions without getting Houston involved?

So we can subtract one from the less than civil unions.
