Thanks all for the info. I went to Magnolia Bar and Grill tonight for crawfish. It was rated highly, but it wasn't all that. Crawfish where a decent size but the spices where nothing special. $5.50 a pound but it doesn't come with corn or potatoes. Which can be good or bad depending if you like that or not. I do.

Magnolia was good about 15 years ago. It's really way past it's hay day

Rajin Cajin is really the only good place to get ditch bugs in Houston.

Pee Tee's is closed - has been for quite a while. I think they tried to resurrect it once - but it closed again.

I never went into the place - but I can remember it used to be packed "back in the day".

Guidry's in Deer Park is packed tonight. Wonder how they are fitting everyone in that building?

Area is not too shady. I always feel comfortable there. We went one time there and somehow one of the passengers of the car I was in got confused and left the door WIDE OPEN! Not unlocked, open. We had just came back from Costco and the car was full of about $500 worth of merchandise. We were in HK for over two hours. Came back, no issues....
my wife and I go there and eat only the crawfish since they are larger and fresher than anywhere we have eaten crawfish.

I think off season, the crawfish is frozen or bad. but go during crawfish season, where you see everyone and their mom eating them.

I go to Pappadeaux in Kemah when I'm craving crawfish etoufee. They were wiped out by Ike, but I've heard they're rebuilding bigger (and higher up!)

We took an early morning walk on the Boardwalk this morning. It doesn't look they've done a thing to Pappadeaux! The whole front of the building is all caved in and hanging down...We were really surprised not more (if anything) had been done!
