We're interested in living in the Southdale of Bellaire (Inside 610). We're wondering how much the flooding affected the streets. How did the streets from Mimosa up to Avenue B do?

Wow that judge Emmett sure could give Rick Perry a run for the money in the hair dept.!

But seriously, I live close to Bellaire and have never heard of any houses flooding. If it floods then it's more than likely just minor street flooding.

I didn't hear anything about houses flooding in Bellaire. Most of the flooding took place in Memorial, Cypress, and Katy. This is Houston so anywhere in our area is vulnerable to flooding, even if it has never flooded before. Every year it seems like someone is being interviewed saying that they have lived in their home for 20+ years and this is the first time it has flooded. Those bayous should keep us all nervous anytime weather like this occurs.
