Does anyone know of any good places for child swimming lessons in the Clear Lake area?

We got a lot of recommendations for this place in league city: Home - Summer's Swim Academy

But we ended up going with the YMCA on Hwy 3 in Webster, because it was significantly cheaper.

There's also a newer YMCA in League City by the Brittany Lakes subdivision.

Default Swimming Lessons

We've used both Summer's in League City and the Perry YMCA. We loved Summers because our son was timid with the water and they took the time to work with him. It wasn't so overwhelming for him. It is a longer term commitment but cost wise it wasn't much more than the YMCA.
The Y program was great after he had the basics down and could focus without being distracted by the other classes taking place at the same time.
Summer's is year round and completely indoors which was a benefit - Perry YMCA is outdoors and I think EA Smith YMCA is indoors.

The absolute best swim program for infants, toddlers, and small children is the Infant Swimming Resource. They teach aquatic self rescue to this age group. Teach your child how to survive falling in water before they learn to play in it. I and several of my friends have used Clear Lake ISR and was amazed what my 9 month old learned....and the instrutor is awesome!
