I am wondering if there are many folks in Houston who've moved from either MN or ND. Who do you like it there?

I grew up in Minneapolis, and moved to SE Texas after college. I have moved a 'few' times for my job, but like living in Houston. I like living in a major city (have an airport that is a hub, two or more pro sports teams, restaurant variety, cultural options, etc), and Houston is more affordable than many. I'm not sure how to say this but in Texas it seems you are still independent to do what you would like to do (albeit legal) without people bothering you. MN seems to be getting more socialist, and ultra-preventive when it comes to law enforcement.
