Joke as we may, I'd like to clarify that nobody's tax dollars are being doled out in checks payable to jfre81. And if they were, it's nothing to worry about because the name on the check and the name on my ID have to match.

You know, that got me thinking, I could go to the courthouse and get my name legally changed to jfre81. I'm getting too lazy writing out a first and last name all the time. But to do this I'd have to get out and fill out paperwork, then go to DPS and get a new driver's license. If I wanted to go through that trouble I'd just collect welfare, and I figured awhile back that required too much effort.

I'd rather stay home, sit around on my porch and stare at people.

You know it's normal in a lot of countries to spend time outside the place you live and socialising with your neighbours. I guess it just isn't part of the culture here, maybe it's something to do with the months of high humidity?

It doesn't bother me much, I just put the lawn sprinkler on, sit in a lounger with some cold beers and shout abuse at the yuppies across at the upscale apartment complex.

I don't mind people hanging outside of their apartments and talking to neighbors but there is a place for it. Most apartments have a social area. BBQ Pit, Park, Bench etc. As long as they are not loud. Humidity has been lower then usual which is good but it is still very hot.

Staying outside on your porch to talk is okay but I have lived in some ghetto area apartments and I never seen the people go to work all they did was hang out at home.

Where I live it's more likely to happen because of the high unemployment rate but I think these people are just milking the system otherwise how do they get money, other than illegal methods. Generally speaking people that live in more pricier apartments work for a living so they appreciate what they have and respect others that live around them. In my line of work I see ghetto apartments and nice apartments and believe me the difference in peoples behavior is like night and day.

I would rather live somewhere where the people represent my values and are more like me.

That kind of thing wouldn't bother me at all. What would bother me is the potential that some of these folks are acting as lookouts for burglars and car thieves. If the area is relatively quiet in terms of crime rates, it's not a problem. If it's a high crime area, then what appeared to be mere indolence takes on an entirely different interpretation.

Well it depends on the pest your dealing with. I don't like the stuff they sell over counter maybe some baits are good like Terro for sweet eating ants but I would suggest you go here Do It Yourself Pest Control Products and Supplies you can buy the products that the pros use. They really are the same products that we use but don't listen to them on what products to use for certain pests because they are there to sell.
