No place is immune from crime. Earlier last year the Sugarland mayor got assaulted at his Sugarland home. A River Oaks home owner got followed from a store and assaulted/robbed very near her home.

Crime is unfortunately everywhere. The nicer in-town areas and nicer suburbs have less statistical crime, but it's still there.

No where is immune, and for anyone to think otherwise is a bit naive.

Commercial/malls are especially vulnerable. Especially those with easy highway access on/off. Criminals can drive in from elsewhere (which these did.) All kinds of scary things have happened in the parking garages at the Galleria.

Nope, nowhere is immune. And not to frighten anyone, but just because there hasn't been a crime in your neighborhood, or in your fancy little building with a doorman, doesn't mean you can't be the first victim. Now I lock everything instinctively. Even locked my boyfriend out a couple of times when he was coming right behind me. Precautions are precautions and that's all though.

I agree. No place is immune. You can pick any safe city in the US and there will still be some occurance of violence.

This wouldnt change my opinion of Sugar Land. My dad lives there. I like the place. Always have. If I ever move to Houston, Sugar Land will be the first place I look to move.

Sugar Land is certainly not immune. Nowhere within driving distance of Houston is.

err normally one will say something like 'what the heck are you looking at?!' then thats when crap hits the fan. I think some poor people get very aggresive when in 'upscale' malls to show that theyre superior than averege folks. same crap that destroyed your astroworld
