We are looking for houses in 80' lots, and we really like the Cinco Ranch Southwest area, the area where the 80' lots is like a little sub-division inside the larger (much larger) neighborhood.

Me personally, I could not justify spending $120k more for the exact same floor plan just to be in Cinco Ranch SW.
That's almost the price of another home.
If it were just $10k or $20k difference, maybe.

Basic economics of supply and demand... they can charge that much more in Cinco and there will still be buyers due to the popularity/amenities of Cinco. Also I'm sure the land cost to the builder from Newland (developer of Cinco) is a lot higher as well.
