Maybe we can finally find something to talk about other than the Nobel Prize non-issue.

He's a community organizer who can read off of a teleprompter. I don't consider that a talent for public speaking.

And here, I go thinking he is the President of the United States.

Just curious, where are all the "lefties" in this topic? Everyone who's posted here seems pretty moderate and levelheaded in my view. Well, except one.

Wait.... *looks around* is this funny? It's supposed to be funny, right? 'Cause I thought it was really funny Aggies embracing a liberal president?

I'd say only about 10% of the population are hard-core, crazy, lets convert to communism Lefties whereas about 30% of the population are hard-core, crazy, Obama is a Kenyan Socialist sent to kill my grandma Rightwingers.

Nah, I think it's pretty equal. 20% Leftist Quasi-Commies and 20% Bunker Builders. 60% of us sit in the middle holding on and wishing there had been another choice in in 2008... and continually hope that the people we elected would actually be a true representation of us, rather than insisting on being an extreme party line quack.

I saw the ''protests'' at A&M on the local news last night, and it appeared the majority of them were age 50ish parents of the students + Brazos County locals. They showed the crowds and there didn't appear to be that many students in it at all, nearly insignificant for a campus of 48,000+. They interviewed a few "College Republicans" (aspiring politician types) and they didn't appear to be unreasonable people, nothing like the usual looney leftist protesters (who didn't get proper parental attention when they were young). If I gathered anything from the reports, the Aggies kept it civil & had some class. It's good to see things on that front haven't changed over the past 10-15 years.
