Where do the American day laborers hang out?

We want cheap labor, we just don't want to have to work for cheap wages ourselves. ---sounds logical.

I totally agree...I could spend $200 and have 4 day laborers spread mulch in my yard OR I could hire a landscape company who will (more than likely) provide me with illegals and pay $700 to get it done.

Thank you ALL for the suggestions

Well, there are also Americans that are latino.

Like I said, you find them by hiring a company. I do not think that you will get "more than likely" illegals too when you hire a business.

Really? I am only questioning this because I am new to Houston... I seem to notice that white folk don't tend to be employed on lawn crews are you suggesting that most of these hispanic folks mowing lawns are legal residents unlike the crews in CA and NV???

I'm pretty sure most of them are illegal, but they knock on the doors and offer the service. It's usually not a business that does it.
