What are my options for internet service for someone planning on moving to Houston or the surrounding areas? Where I live now our options are either with phone companies (quest, frontier) or cable companies (cox). Most ppl sign on for their packages where they combine phone, long distant, internet sometimes satelite/cable.........do you all have something like this there? Please tell me all the good and bad........Thanks in advance

Cable companies are monopolies and run the same all over. You will have a choice of either cable or dsl/satellite wherever you move. They all have the same packages and such.

Comcast is your best choice in Houston decent speeds but if your a heavy downloader you are gonna get limited then they drop your speeds to 14.4 or 28.8
