Just stumbled across this site, and it's nice to see a helpful forum. Me and my fiance are looking at homes in the Spring area. Unfortunately we have not found much information on the neighborhood of Oakridge Forest. The HOA website doesn't seem to be updated very often. I've worked in the area and we've driven through multiple times, but get an indifferent feel for it. Any information anyone has would be greatly appreciated.

I grew up in Oak ridge, and played in the wooded area that is now OakRidge Forest. I believe they started clearing that area back in 1997 or so, and started building houses around 98. It's a nice area that is pretty quiet, but many of the homes are now approaching 10 years old, and some of the owners aren't keeping maintaince up. That being said, other than a few of the homes off of Hanna Rd. that are backed up to some very busy railroad tracks, I don't see any reason why someone would be concerned about moving into the neighborhood.

I wouldn't buy a house on Oakridge forest Ln. between Hanna and Gamewood, because it's a pretty busy road, and it's not very wide, so the visibilty is poor when people park on the road, bad combo.

Good to hear, sounds like all went well for them. The number of houses going up back there is staggering.

We have a 3100 sq ft. house that I just put on the market. it is at 611 loggers chase ct. Smalll cul-de-sac with only 5 houses on it. The neighborhood is really not too bad. We lived there for about 10 years or so. My house used to be the model home. Typical neighborhood of $150,000 to $230,000 homes. Some are kept up really well and then others not as well, but in all not a bad neighborhood. Close to elementary, middle, and high school. Only Jr. High is a bit away from the area. Close to mall and freeway.
