And that's where Houston is different than most cities. Houston does not have many areas that are majority whatever. It is a very integrated city. Now the 3rd ward has a nice size population of upper class blacks. But if you're looking for something like Atlanta or DC or even Dallas, you're not going to see it in Houston and honestly, that is just one of many things I like about the city.

This is true, but if I had to answer the question I would say Missouri City. However, it's still one of the most diverse areas and located in one of the top 10 most diverse counties within the country.

Oh, I forgot about Missouri City. The Houston area is quite unique. It has over one million blacks in the metro area and there is no particular where blacks are the majority.

No, I'm just curious because Houston seems to be underrated when it comes to its African American population. That's why I'm glad it surpassed one million so Houston can rival other cities like DC and Atlanta.

LOL, it is not even CLOSE to rivaling those places. If you want those cities, go to those cities. Houston is not even close on that. The dominant minority in Houston is Hispanic by a huge margin. It's like saying that Austin's film industry is on par with Los Angeles/Hollywood. Meaning it's there, but it's dispersed and not that organized or influential at all in comparison.
