Default Park and Ride

I live in Friendswood, which is actually closer in than Richmond. I've lived in this specific area all my life, and I don't think I would be anywhere else so long as I am in the Houston area. I'm not actually posting to recommend Friendswood so much as I want to promote the Park and Ride bus. When I worked downtown, I was able to take the commuter bus back and forth, and it was so much better than driving. If there was a wreck, or flooded streets, sometimes I was never even aware of it! I got a little 20 minute nap each way, and believe it or not, that made a huge difference in my energy level. I would get home nice and relaxed instead of stressed out and tired. I changed jobs and the new office was right by downtown, but just far enough out I had to take a local bus in addition to the commuter bus. That ruined it. The trip took way too long. Long story short (I know too late) if your job is actually downtown where you could take the Park and Ride, maybe try to factor that in when you pick a neighborhood. Good luck!

If you wanted to live in Richmond, TX and want a quick commute, I would recommend River Park West. It is located right off 59 and the commute into downtown would be quick because you are located right off the freeway. Perry Homes builds in this community, and they are a really great builder. I think their starting part is from the $230s and if you are relocating, mention it to the salesperson that you were recommended Perry Homes, and I know they have a relocation discount program.
