HUNTINGTON -- Sports fans in the Tri-State area might want to get really familiar with the Huntington Prep basketball program soon.
That's because those nationally involved in the sport are already taking notice of what coach Rob Fulford is doing.
Huntington Prep appears on its way to being one of the top basketball programs in the nation when preseason polls are announced before the start of the 2011-12 campaign.
"With what we have coming in and coming back, it's a legitimate preseason top 10 team, maybe even top 5," Fulford said of the team he has assembled.
That's awesome, i didn't read the article, but will they be playing any of their games in the Henderson Center? I noticed last season they played in the old Vet, and i think some games at HHS.
Looks like Huntington Prep will be playing most of their games at the field house again. My guess is that they move to Huntington High after the field house is torn down because I think there is a new rule aboout high school teams not being allowed to play on a college campus.
Too bad it wasn't last years team with Wiggins. They could have taken it all. I have seen this team play, and while very talented, they lack the chemistry of a great team.
