I thought we had a law- or maybe I am imagining it...
I live in Owens Cross Roads, off Taylor Road. My neighbor is letting his dogs (we have dogs too-but we clean up after them) poop in OUR yard. next to our driveway to be exact...We know it isn't our dogs, because we never let our dogs out front to use the bathroom...
Anyway, while it is winter- I can only imagine what it will be like when warmer weather comes...
I know it is a delicate matter, I am wondering how to approach this- I need help!
We pay dues to a homeowner's association, and I was wondering if I should contact them in regards to it... thoughts? Or if there are laws, etc? Thanks.

If you live in a HOA, get photos and let them handle it. When I was a kid, a neighbor's dog used to poop in our yard and I had to mow over the area. I got disgusted and stuck signs up in the yard. "Fido was here", "Another one bites the dust", "Land Mine", and so on. He cleaned up his act.

yeah-that is why we live in a neighborhood with restrictions...I grew up in a place where cows were free to roam...: ) NEVER AGAIN...LOL I emailed the onsite realtor for our neighborhood, and asked for the HOA contact info- and I explained why...

I have the exact same problem... only I don't yet know who the offender is. We live alongside a neighborhood walking trail, and I have a large unfenced back yard. I own a dog myself that I tend to be lazy about cleaning up after, but my dog is trained to go to the far end of the yard (which borders trees) away from anyone's house.

This unknown dog is doing its business right outside of my back door, literally a foot from my back patio. I've been thinking of putting up a poop bag dispenser along the walking trail... and considering various signage. If I found out who it was, I think I might start cleaning it up myself and throwing it at his patio. GRR!
