The 2nd annual Rocket City Weather Fest is scheduled for this Saturday, September 17, 11am - 4pm at the Shelby Center on the UAHuntsville campus.
This is a fabulous opportunity for people of all ages to come out and learn a bit more about the weather. There is a great lineup of seminars (including Dr. Greg Forbes from the Weather Channel), many exhibits and also children activities - something for everyone to enjoy!
Rocket City Weather Fest is a free event, hosted by the UAHuntsville student chapter of the American Meteorological Society, and sponsored by various local businesses. If you don't have any plans on Saturday, I hope you bring the whole family out!
