We're considering a future move to Huntsville and have been looking
at the different private/christian schools online. Would like to hear from someone that has children in private school or hear any information on a good private school choice. Thanks...

Madison Academy (K-12) or Catholic schools to Catholic HS. Madison Academy has a lot of history and community support, plus fairly new facilities. Catholic HS is fairly new and has good reputation.

Sister went to MA; friend's kids go to Catholic. Can't go wrong with either.

Randolph is not Christian oriented, but it is an excellent private school.
I'm sure you have your reasons for desiring a private or Christian school, but some transplants to this area do not realize that Huntsville has a very good public school system. While it's true that there are some schools to avoid, for the most part it is not necessary to stick with private education. You can search this forum for many Huntsville school recommendations. Good luck in your search!

Southlander - while I generally agree that HSV has a good public school system, my personal experience with children in both public and private schools convinces me that private schools are far superior academically. Maybe I've been lucky (good church school - note - not here) and unlucky (relatively not-as-good but good-for-public schools: Mtn Gap, Mtn Gap, Grissom - you might agree that those schools are recognized among HSV's best).

The church school focuses on teaching math and grammar; the public school inserts 'social justice' into many subjects; YMMV.
