Any idea what's going in the old Hollywood Video store on Hughes road in Madison? I saw some crews cleaning it out yesterday. Also t looks like Las Trojas Cantina is moving into the old Surie building on 72 in Madison.

To mattress stores' defense, they don't last forever - buuut, surely we don't need as many as we have - or more Mexican restaurants

I just officially found out I have an INSIDE connection to the Serta Factory in Cullman. Just when I thought I might actually have to get one from one of the many, many, many stores.

Also 8-10yrs is the life span.

But it never wears out. Sorry I don't buy Big Mattress' advertisements about sweat and dead skin cells. Once upon the time people slept on the ground and were glad they weren't sleeping in a puddle. So until the springs start poking out of the mattress I'll keep using it.

Hollywood Video was a subsidiary of Movie Gallery, Inc. which also filed for bankruptcy in 2010.

Movie Gallery - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

On April 30, 2010, Movie Gallery announced it was closing and liquidating all of its stores per a filing of Chapter 7 bankruptcy. At its peak the firm had about 4,700 stores in North America, operating mainly under the Movie Gallery, Hollywood Video, and Game Crazy brands. The last of the company's stores were closed in August 2010.

Yuk. Since you're what, 20 years old? You probably do think they last forever, but they don't.
Once your back starts killing you, you'll try anything...including the ground.

Our Hollywood store here in Decatur sat empty until, voila! Yet another furniture/TV rental place.
