We just bought our home in Huntsville last year, and in true military fashion, found out we're moving again in a few months. Since we'll likely take a major hit by selling so soon, we'd like to rent out our home. We love our neighborhood and there is a possibility we'd move back here after the next assignment. Any suggestions on property management companies would be great. Thank you!

I would NOT recommend:

Executive Real Estate Management
3313 Memorial Parkway Suite 127
Huntsville, AL 35801
256-880-1000

I know this isn't that helpful but sometimes it's also good to know who to avoid.

Hamlett Properties manages my rental home. I would give them an A- rating.

Hughs Properties, they manage the HOA in the same neighborhood.

Sent you a PM with my experiences/recommendations.

FYI, Hughes sold off the property management side of her business years ago. She still manages HOAs just not rentals.

Interesting, they didn't tell me that when I asked them about managing my rental. They only said it would be a conflict of interest because they also manage the HOA. They also still have rental property listed on their website (albeit only one) as well as stating they are a "property management" company.

Unless she has started back up....several years ago she sold that part of her business to Rosenblum and said she was getting out of property management outside HOA management. Maybe individual agents? IDK.

Edit...you are right. She has that one. I didn't know she was back at it....she used to have a HUGE property management company. If that's the case, I love Betty....she's excellent at what she does and would definitely recommend her.

She is by far the BEST in regards to HOA management....she manages a TON of great HOAs.
