The Terry's Torpedo was an excellent sandwich - meats, cheese, and marinara on a toasted baguette.

Went there once, couldn't understand what the fuss was about. It was like the pizza that used to be served in drive-in theatres, back when that was the only pizza you could get. Frozen crusts shipped in from somewhere, tasted like cardboard.
However....Mando's was just like that. And I used to get those Mando's pizzas BECAUSE they reminded me of the first pizza I ever tasted. Nostalgia makes it taste good.

If their pizza is really like what you can get at Star Market, I don't see what the fuss is about either. Regardless, nice to see an apparently much-loved local business re-opening.

We thought their pizza sucked when we tried it a couple of times years ago so I don't really get it either. It will be surprising if it stays open more than a year but who knows.....maybe they will have good lasagna and subs or something along those lines. Hell, Dominos is still in business and that is the crappiest pizza, wings and breadsticks ever so I guess there is hope for anybody.
