I actually searched our forum first to see if this had been posted -- hehe -- but I do need to find a very good voice teacher for my daughter. She is in chorus in 9th grade, but the teacher is looking at the whole group and positioning singers differently for that purpose. Because my girl has a mezzo soprano range, she can sing 3 parts and will be used accordingly--for the good of the group. Any rate, we need a voice teacher to work with her individually to continue strengthening her broad range as well as her auditioning capabilities.

We had a teacher in Fairfax that also taught piano. That was unusual, but any info on the Piano teachers would be nice as well. My daughter is not super serious about piano, but likes to plunk--don't need a hard, do or die, teacher on this one.

If you know of anyone, just DM me.

Thanks!

I did not intentionally use a second screen name--I asked to have my name changed formally and it was completed for me after I posted as cglover. I am only using ONE name.

Sorry for the confusion--therefore I did NOT violate the terms of service.

And now--I really just need info about a voice teacher and/or a piano teacher.

Thanks!

Good grief. This coming from a first time poster. Nice way to introduce yourself to the community.

Yeah--here I was all excited because I thought someone had an answer for me regarding my question for info about voice teachers--oh well--I didn' t do anything wrong--

I just called ARS but they are booked up when we can make it and open when we can't--I just wish I could find someone here in Madison to teach this child voice.

She's in chorus at school, but it's a group deal--

But maybe we'll luck out with ARS or word of mouth as time progresses here -- we are still getting our feet up under us --

OMG control yourself. There is a way that is totally "legal" to change your name. Are you the new City-Data police? What happened to Keeper, who happens to be the one who supplied the info for a name change. WOW...

as far as voice lessons..there is a place on Capshaw Rd/Old Monrovia Rd, that may do it. I don"t know anything about them but will get info next time I drive by for you.

Thanks! I am also checking out colors of music near Slaughter Rd. Called and left a message--I hope to locate something by the end of the month--private lessons CLOSE to home would be lovely.

Default Does Anyone Know about Colors Fine Arts Inc in Madison?

I know ARS Nova is good--but the timing of the teaching schedule stinks for us. Does anyone know anything about Colors? I can get private instruction there for a reasonable fee, but I don't want to waste my moola if it is a waste of time.

Help!
