The MDA workforce consists of more than 5000 people. To me, hiring 100-200 young engineers every year is common sense, and hardly "massive".

I agree with HB2HSV about getting rid of the older work force can be a big mistake. We are not in government but we have seen this in the private sector. Companies get rid of their higher paying but much more seasoned and full of wisdom and experienced workers to save a little money. Age discrimination is going on all the time. I know this is not relevant to the conversation here about the government but my 2cents about age in the work force!
