Absolutely correct...The "yobs" you would normally see immigrants doing are done by teenagers, and or adult females in N. Idaho.. To be honest I think its pretty darn cool.. I know for a fact its near to impossible for a teenager to get a job in Slow Cal. In Idaho jobs for kids are pretty easy to come by, and they are expected to do something other than sit around playing X-box...
My new shop in NID was finished by a crew of women, and the work was incredible..
My Hispanic buddies resent the influx of illegals as much or more than the norm. I am surprised more folks don't speak out. Political correctness is done folks. We have a serious situation on our hands as a nation. Grab your kids by the ear, take the Ipods and XBOX 360 away. Teach them how to fish, garden and hunt. Teach them how to be handy. They need to know the difference between a wrench and a pair of pliers. Read their e-mails if that is what it takes. Don't let them zone out. If thing's get bad at least they will know what end of the hammer pounds the nail.
An MBA is great but won't do you much good if your working at mickey D's.
How about paying a bunch of responsible teenagers instead. Parents could get together and start a work co-op like 4h or something. Nothing wrong with a part time job for kids during summer. It beats sitting around and talking about how bored they are. Not only do they get in shape but they get to learn to earn and appreciate the value of a buck.
If Americans would do these jobs rather than illegals guess what end of problem. Problem is nobody wants to stand out in the hot sun and do what is required. It is a lot easier to collect unemployment. I did hard labor as a teenager. I did not like it but I did it. Most of the guys I went to school with were allowed to remain idle during the summer. Guess what, most of em are gone now due to drugs or booze. I sure don't have all the answers but we have enough folks in this country to fill every job out there. I have yet to see an illegal up here in the Panhandle. Mostly folks who need to eat filling positions normally taken by illegals elsewhere. I would rather pay a little bit more to a citizen than a non-citizen.

I believe we could make Youtube crash if we gave my sons a claw hammer and a pound of nails. They helped me build a fence a few months ago, it was ugly.

I asked my step son if he wanted that new thingamajig where you are the controller and you have to jump and move around. (not like wii where the kids figured out quick how to sit on the couch and flick their wrists) He said he wasn't really into that kind of thing. What, moving? Standing? Exactly what I am talking about. They are not into moving, exercising or working part time etc. It is too much fun to steal cars in game-land or shoot bad guys while chomping on chips and sucking down cokes. At least the folks on this forum are trying to do the right thing with their kids. I like the fence story. It may be ugly but you guys did it. I have been asked by friends and family to join them on Facebook. I don't have the time or the inclination to get that involved with the computer. I have gone as long as a month and not checked e-mails. Facebook would be too much. The forum is about as involved as I get.
Its to move anywhere anymore without being invaded by illegal mexicans that dont even speak english.
