I currently live in in Montana. The company I work for is opening up a new store there in a few months. it's either there for big city Portland.(which i do not really want) I have only driven through CDA on the way to the airport and it seems very nice there.

We are a young couple with three kids this brings up the questions how are the schools there?.

The store will be on 222 W Neider Ave. is this a good part of town?

Thanks

Neider is fine. I am there constantly... Costco, Kmart, Black Sheep, Roger's Burgers, Panhandle Bank, Mongolian BBQ, Motion Sports, Texas Roadhouse, Super Supplements, Dollar Tree.

Idaho is a nice lateral move from Montana - I just did it and the people are down-home friendly.

Portland is a polar opposite.

Cmon over!

All natural, all the time - Coeur d'Alene Press: Local News

Looks like Natural Grocers.

I hope a Trader Joes gets there by the time I come.

Good to know, right now I essentially travel around 20 mins or so to reach one near me so it isnt all that different... depending on exactly what part of CDA we find a rental in.

One of the handy things about CDA living is the close proximity of Spokane, where you'll find every store underneath the sun available for your shopping pleasure. Really, CDA is stocked with a large variety of stores already, though. CDA's library is probably the best and most comprehensive library I've ever been to. If your home internet is down or you're new to your house and don't have internet service yet, Coeur d' Alene's library at 8th and Mullan has lots of computers available for you to sign up for. You get 2 hours at at time IIRC. Just something to keep in mind.

Enjoy your time in CDA - still have fond memories of the place as I enjoy the early morning of a day off from work here in Alamogordo, NM.
