Congrats on your great escape!

What part of Idaho? We are pretty close to leaving SoCal for beautiful N. Idaho ourselves.

Safe travels

Janna

Thanks guys! We're holed up in Medford Oregon due to the snow. I'm towing my moms car so we didn't want to chance it going over the mountain passes. Looks like well be there Sunday now.

It was the best feeling crossing the border into Oregon... I'm sure it will be even better crossing into Idaho especially sine post falls is right over the border

Are you going up through Idaho to Post Falls rather than through Washington?

Take your time--going 84 to 395 to 90 is absolutely the best idea under the current weather conditions. Once you're on the downhill slope to Spokane on 90 you can almost see Post Falls! I don't really love Spokane, but I love that feeling of finally going downhill into town, knowing that Idaho is only a few more miles away...

OK, was going to suggest that if you answered otherwise. Have a safe trip!

Travel safely and take your time. And remember, during this time of the year, no matter how much you would love to do it, do NOT kiss the ground upon arrival to your new home. Your lips might freeze to the ground.

We're OK but we just spun out on an ice patch and the car I'm towing swung around and hit the center rail. Good news is we all walked away in one piece. Might not get there until Monday now.

We're still south of Eugene Oregon. Hopefully the roads will be better tomorrow
