Thanks. I have a packages of diapers just in case. Yeah, I noticed that a lot of the rest stops between Vegas and SLC are part of gas stations/truck stops for some reason.

I think I'll take it easy and make it a 3 night drive to CDA instead of one to keep the daily drive shorter and things easier.

That's not true.

There ARE "rest areas" along the way. Many of them are somewhat primitive.

And yes, there are truck stops. But truck stops tend to be pretty good places to stop.
