I am 22 years old and single, thinking of moving to CDA to begin my career. I have a good job prospect there and I love the climate, lake and outdoors. My question is, as a young single adult, what is the social setting like there? I am not one for hopping around clubs and bars, but I do still want to be able to meet new people and date, and I'd like to start a family one day. It seems CDA is spoke most often of as a great place to retire, and it's not a massive city so I just want to be sure I'm not going to isolate myself from people my own age and potentially finding a mate and new friends.

Thank you for anyone's insight.

From someone who spent his twenties and in bars and screwing around, you will be fine. There are plenty of people, there is lots of surrounding areas with people. If that is your biggest fear, then you shall be fine. Just stick to who you are, and join groups that mirror that and you will find your place.

[mod cut] I have more or less the same question (single, early 20s, potentially would want to date and meet people) and I would greatly appreciate additional thoughts on this.

Live / work in CDA, head to Spokane or Moscow on weekends. Or live / work in Spokane or Moscow and go to CDA when you want lake time.

CDA doesnt have many young 20s. It is ok on 25-34 though, if you are ready to hang with them.

Thank you for the insight and suggestions. I would probably work in Spokane, Spokane Valley or Liberty Lake.
