Hi All, was studying google maps and looking for things to not buy a house near... couldn't locate anything that looked like a landfill near CDA.

Hits came up, but zoom in didn't seem to show a fill. Google maps, being software, isn't perfect, to be sure. LOL!

So where's the fill actually at?

What we have are transfer stations, the landfill is down a ways south on the 95.

Would that be the "Fighting Creek Landfill"?

Yes. Going to the dump is part of your property tax and allows you to bring a ton (literally) on any given trip at no additional cost.

There is some noise at the transfer station, but no smell. I might not like it as my view out my front window, but you could be fairly close and not have it be a nuisance.

I don’t think you can bring your trash directly to the Fighting Creek landfill. You have to go to the transfer stations. Or use one of the rural dumpster sites like the one on Sunup Bay Rd.

Right, just a habit of saying "going to the dump" as opposed to "going to the transfer station". Speaking of, the Ramsey one is kinda tight inside if you have a big trailer, plenty of room at the Prairie one.
