Was in the low 50's here today... Not a flake, or speck of snow on the ground anymore. At least for now... I like the snow better than rain to be honest.. Snow you can brush off, rain just gets you wet and makes things sloppy

Seriously. Even in west Dufort Valley (between 95 and Morton Slough) which is usually snowier than other parts around, we're starting to see bare gravel on our road, and growing dry patches around all our trees. Looks like late March out there...so weird...

I am just betting more Big Snow is on order before Real Spring hits.
I rode up to Horseshoe Bend on my big motorcycle yesterday.
34 and raining. A great day actually. The ride along the Payette River was awesome.
I saw an Eagle near the river and I stopped to burn a nice Cigar too.
My heated Gerbings gear paid for itself again.

I don't know about you, but after the last 2 winters, I'm enjoying the break. I've only plowed a couple times, and could have gotten by without it. Plus the firewood supply is holding up well. On the other hand, I don't go for this wet, gray weather, I would like some snow and a few nice sunny days before winter is over.

Have you noticed how much longer the days are than just a month ago? December does tend to get to me with all the darkness.

I haven't heard how much snow there is in the mountains. We've had a lot of rain in the valleys, the high country may be getting pounded.

Sounds like a good day, if damp and cool. I'll take light rain over 95 and dusty for a trail ride any day. We went out playing on the quads last weekend, had a great ride. Freezing rain didn't help with visibility though.
