Are there any Trade Schools in Lewiston or Moscow or north of that? I'm looking for a possible IT Program. I'm going to be going through my Microsoft A+ Certification this Summer, but I may want to transfer the F out of California before I complete my AA in Network Administration.

Thanks for any info you can provide.

North Idaho College in CDA is a "community college" (2 year programs only AFAIK). Their IT program is supposed to be pretty good, but I have no personal experience with it.

Glad to hear your son is getting into the design profession. Solidworks is a powerful program, you can do a lot with it. It's also about the most common solid modeling software, at least in this area. I'm pretty sure they have an educational version of the software out for not much money (pro version is around $4k). It would give him the option of doing a lot of his work from home. And just might do a nice job with knife designs!
