Critics who thought they had won when told they would stop the DL check points were horrified to learn they will keep doing them under a broader menu of items being checked.

Nice tactic!!

Why are our cities backing down from doing what they obviously at once felt was right just because groups threaten to take legal action? I understand that they are afraid of losing money, but you can't keep backing down like that, nothing will ever go forward and changes will never be made. It's such an easy victory for pro illegal immigrant people and groups. They just say they will take legal action and people just back down. "I'lls ue you!" "Oh, oh, OK, we'll change our minds then." What kind of ***** is that? Let them sue and go from there. If they achieve victory in court even if there is nothing wrong with a city's law, then we chalk it up as an injustice against us and take whatever action we can take after that.

It's like Arizona, what if Arizona Governor Brewer just gave up like that at the bark of Obama and the Justice Department? What if this city in Nebraska, Fremont, just gave up because people said they would sue? Who will be the one to say, "You know what, we really believe in what we are doing and we have the support of the people, so bring it on."
