U.S. District Court Judge Lewis Kaplan lambasted Maria Maximo's scheme as "a truly horrible crime" and ordered her to forfeit $2 million that she had amassed between 2004 and 2006 by filing work visa applications she knew would be denied.
You see, that’s one of the many reasons illegal’s should be deterred and discouraged from entering the U.S.
