The security of the United States of America is in the hands
of some very incompetent people who have no idea what's
going on along the border and refuse to let the people
hired to do that job

I hope soon we will see some accountability from the policy
makers in DC as to why for them this is not an issue that
is of the most important to our National Security

If someone or something slips through their bigger problem
will become the American Citizen

I consider it an insult to mine and every Americans intelligence the way this and past administrations
have down played our National Security along the
Southern Border

As long as the murders, rapes, kidnappings, ID theft, and credit fraud is happening to everyone EXCEPT our elected local/state/federal officials, their family members, and close friends -- illegal entry into the U.S.A. is officially NOT A PROBLEM.

Good Lord. Things are so out of control in Mexico it isn't even funny. Honduras, El Salvador, Brazil, Ecuador, Mexico and the US, all need to work together to squash (and imprison) the Zetas Cartel. Mexico can't handle this alone, nor should they be expected to.

That Cartel is an infection that's spreading to other countries and all of them need to step up to the plate and collectively work together to stop the problem.

Securing our borders is about more than just stopping illegal immigration. It's also important to secure the border for the following reasons:

A) Those that are illegally entering the US, while they do so of their own free will, are slave labor. Slavery is illegal and business owners that are engaging in this type of economic slavery need to be punished.

B) Illegal aliens in the US have family members in their home countries that are being kidnapped and held for ransom. If the US-residing illegal alien can't come up with the ransom money to pay the kidnappers their family member ends up being murdered.

C) Drug smugglers and human traffickers are making a living off of our insecure borders and are literally getting away with murder.

For the safety and well-being of everyone involved, we need to secure our damned borders!

Mexican massacre investigator found dead

...Please, you do nothings in DC, secure our borders now!!!..

There is no Domestic issue---not the economy, the debt, the environment, inflation, employment---more revealing and important in determining the capacity of a candidate lead this Nation, than their stance on illegal immigration.

Dems and Republicans who refuse to enforce the Nation's laws against illegal immigration, who favor Amnesty for illegal aliens, who defend and enable scofflaws and demonize patriotic citizens, who refuse to deport, secure the border, fine (or jail) employers of I.A.s, and more...are unworthy to hold office.

This single issue reveals more about their vision for the future of America than all the other b.s. "promises", "intents", rhetoric, smoke and mirrors, they will deliver.

The treasonous and routine betrayal of this Country with regard to the permitted and continued invasion of illegal immigrants in exchange for cheap labor and bribed votes is inexcuseable.

It should never have been tolerated...and our "Leaders" should be exposed, stripped of power, and held to account.

Someone tell me again just why we want people in the country that have to pay $15,000 to a smuggler to get here? What are they going to do once they get here? Here's how I feel: if you can't legally get in then you don't need to be here. Fifteen-thousand dollars for a freaking smuggler. The smugglers, the undocumented people all need to be caught and processed.

If our borders remain open, this is what we can expect in the US. These cartels are as loathsome as they come, and they spare none, not even babies. It boggles the mind how anyone can believe that this level of evil will restrict itself to Mexico.

If the "migrants" can afford to pay $15,000 to be illegally escorted into the U.S., why on earth don’t they use the money to improve their lives at home by starting a small business, attending school, or heaven forbid. . . . birth control?

The photo of the 72 massacred should be plastered across every newspaper south of the border. They need to know what fate may await them if they attempt to enter this country illegally. As despicable as this massacre is, perhaps it will serve to curtail illegal entry.

We're gonna be fighting Islamic extremist terrorists and the Mexican cartel pretty soon. Well, technically both are our enemy now, but the cartel battle will hit up and the US will have to get more involved. The thing is that if the US military went down into Mexico, they would clear the cartels out. It just sucks if it had to come to that, more money spent and potential lives lost. Remember, this car bomb is the second one, showing that they have adopted that method.

The problem with that is that we have thousands of cartel fighters and illegal immigrant gangmembers already on our side of the border. If we were to invade Mexico we would need to keep a large number of troops to defend the LOC and it handle the attacks back home. We don't have the manpower for that anymore. Given the lessons from Iraq and Afghanistan we would need at least 500,000 troops to invade Mexico, at least 50,000 more to defend the LOC and probably another 250,000 to handle the domestic front which would include every major city and metropolitan area. That dosent even include the support troops that would be needed to sustain the logistics, medical, and transportation aspects. We would need well over 1,000,000 troops.

Our best bet is to put the US Army on the border and hold them off until the cartels have nobody left to send. Force the cartels to go up against a solid wall of ACUs from San Diego to Brownsville and bleed them white.
