I dont know why the OP felt it was needed to bring up race, since technically Arizona is not unique in its demograghic shift. Whites as a group in this nation dont have a future at current rates of population growth, Arizona changed from a majority white to a majority hispanic state very rapidly but the same process is happening in every state [at a slower pace]. Heck look at California, it was 90% white in the 60s whereas it is 45% white today and still dropping like a rock. Texas, Florida, New York and a few other states are either minority white now or soon will be...So claiming that Arizona's fate is somehow unique is wrong.
The real issue with Arizona is that it shows how our Federal Government views illegals very clearly...They want them here. They want them here so much that the Fed is willing to sue a state to prevent them from deporting illegal aliens [who could be terrorists for all we know].
The real question is why. Why do the Feds want illegals here so much ? Does anyone really think the top brass in this nation give a hoot about illegals on a personal level ? I dont, its a nice derailing tactic, but the answer is likely very simple. Money. $$$.
