So, the construction of our wall is considered xenophobic and racist, and an affront to our Mexican neighbors. Yet, they are now doing the same. Can there possibly be a more hypocritical government than Mexico?

The Inter-Press Sevice (IPS) is reporting that the head administrator of the Mexican Superintendency of Tax Administration, Raul Diaz, has confirmed that his government is building a wall in the state of Chiapas, along the Mexican/Guatemalan border.
The official reason is to stop contraband from coming into Mexico, but as Diaz admitted: “It could also prevent the free passage of illegal immigrants.”

If this doesn't lower the trust rate between US Government and Mexico, then we'll know for sure where our Governments intrests really stand.
I say, let the hypocrits build it. For one thing, he'll no loner have room to stick his nose in our business and complain about the US/Mexico border. Another is, when the US/Mex, border is up, we'll have double protection.
Well, I am kinda glad they are because this will reduce our amount of people that try to enter the US illegaly via Mexico. People from the countries south of Mexico go through Mexico to get into the US. But, yea, it is hypocritical. We are supposed to not put up a wall because apparently it looks like we are closing ourself off, but Mexico can put up a wall in Guatemala's face.

According to Mexico's National Commission on Human Rights, 500,000 people from Central America cross into Mexico illegally every year.
Well, they sure aren't stopping and staying in Mexico, they are making their way up into the US. So, there is 500,000, give or take, right there that we can expect to try to come into the US. Add that to the amount we get from Mexico and then add the other countries. Yay, millions of undocumented people coming in every year.
Now Now..you know they can't be held to the rules. We owe them our entire treasury at the very least! Of course we'd have to relinquish any right to have a say in how it's spent.

I guess we should have used that money to help with OUR Southern border instead, and just WHY the F^&* are we giving MEXICO $$$ for this when they are sitting on so many resources (like those oil deposits they just decide not to exploit?)

On average, clients can expect to save as much as 75% on labor costs when operating in Mexico.
american corporations exploit the poor of mexico for its benefit and the mexicans are so damn good at working that.
Mexican exports to the United States have quadrupled since NAFTA's implementation, from $60 billion to $280 billion per year.
