HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Two former Houston-area DPS workers pleaded guilty to selling driver's licenses to unqualified applicants.
DPS Trooper Mark DeArza, 29, of Houston and 37-year-old DPS clerk Lidia Gutierrez, of Galena Park, both were convicted of conspiring to sell Texas driver's licenses to unqualified applicants.
Greed and corruption abounds. The same thing happened here in MD. It’s bad enough being on the road with experienced drivers who have no regard for the safety of others. Now, we must also contend with people who haven’t even passed a driving test. I hope they throw the book at them.
