Obama is just using Ignorant and Desperate ILLEGAL Mexicans to further his political carreer !!!!

If they believe anymore of his FAKE promises and outright LIES then they are really STUPID.

Obama is a CLOWN that will say and promise anything to advance his pathetic agenda at all costs, regardless of who he has to LIE to !!!!

It's also interesting that the article tries to make it sound as if Republicans are for amnesty as well. But then why didn't the bill pass? And if ALL the Democrats had voted for it...it would have passed.

They gloss over the fact that Obama promised to do this in his first year, but in the last days of his second year it finally sees the light of day. It goes on to mention that it probably won't be addressed again until after the 2112 election, lol.

And in spite of the fact that they imply Republicans see the value in amnesty type legislation they say Republicans are set to launch new enforcement measures...that Obama will veto. If republicans want to maintain any kind of credibility in my book, they need to move on enforcement and raise awareness of the financial burden this is on our country. In the comments section a Latino states that as a legal American he is sick of this pandering and that his own kids could use help with their educational bills.

The states are going to have to make their move soon and the Federal republicans had better make a stand. If not I will come to the conclusion that we are a one party country.

Off soap box.

Because it is the L.A. Times, lol.

It's funny how their articles are usually pro-illegal immigration or just reporting the news but they put little positive things in there about illegal immigration. However, the comments on the articles are always anti-illegal immigration. It's like the L.A. Times is just using its platform to stir up things and get attention, but the readers usually are the opposite in opinion.

Its easy to see that Obama is going to do NOTHING about the illegal aliens but try and find more ways to protect them..If so I plan to vote for anyone who runs against him. The dream act was just a trick to let more illegals come in and protect them. If a kid rasised here becomes legal ALL of his family and aunts and uncles and grandmama all will then be legal...Its a trick

I thought it was about Illegal Aliens? These politicians keep using the word Hispanic. Which is it?

"There are Republican senators who view the exclusion of Hispanic voters to be very short-sighted politically, and they are looking for a way to meet the needs of the Hispanic community without antagonizing their political base,'' Durbin said.

One one hand they and the other advocates for illegal aliens don't want to call attention to the ethnic makeup of most illegals in our country because they will claim racial profiling and possible abuse of all Hispanics in our country. On the other hand, they and their advocates make it a Hispanic issue because they want the Hispanic vote and Hispanics want to play the victim mentality card such as using racism for objecting to their ethnic group illegally invading our country in the largest numbers.

What gets me in all of this is why can't our politiicans see what the real agenda is here which is the takeover of our country, politically, numerically and culturally? It will be their demise down the road when they get kicked to the curb and replaced with Hispanic politicans who will only favor their own group. How can Hispanics or these pandering politicians justify an illegal invasion of our country and then reward those who are doing it? How can either of these groups look themselves in the mirror and not feel a tug on their conscience? Are they born without one?

Obama is in campaign mode. He will tell illegals and their voting supporters exactly what they want to hear. They’ll fall for his promises, and will vote again for “hope and change.” A few days ago, DREAMies were calling Obama everything but a child of God. Now, they’re back on the bandwagon, and giddy with anticipation of their imminent legalization. After all, Obama promised.
