What do you think? If people come to U.S. Illegally, should their offspring be citizens.
If an American is in most other countries illegally, and they have a child, it is not automatically given citizenship in that country, why should we grant them citizenship here..

Got a problem with the Constitution?
How about the part of the Constitution that states the

I don’t have a problem with the Constitution. However, I do have a problem with its shameful manipulation. The drafters of the 14th Amendment did not intend for citizenship to be granted to illegal foreigners. The intent was to guarantee citizenship to all children of citizens regardless of race. This was necessary to ensure the children of freed slaves would have their rightful citizenship status in this country, which had been previously denied. Of course, the drafters of the Constitution could not have anticipated this invasion.
When U.S. citizens give birth on foreign soil, their children are U.S. citizens by virtue of the nationality of their parents. Likewise, when illegal aliens give birth on U.S. soil, their children should have the same nationality and illegal status of their parents. The manipulation and abuse of the 14th Amendment is a HUGE magnet for illegal immigration, and must be rescinded before illegals completely bankrupt and destroy this country.

When that Amendment was drafted and accepted, there was no such thing as illegal or legal immigrants. People just showed up on our shores and that was that.

That's not what it says, is it? In fact, the Amendment makes no reference to parents at all.
If you have evidence to support your position, let's see it.

Do you know what it takes to rescind a Constitutional Amendment?
Constitution? NO. Problem with the interpetations? Yes.
What in that Amendment is unclear enough to require interpretation? It seems pretty darn clear to me.
